Welcome to Ocean Blue at Moonlight Beach. We are thrilled to have you as our guest! To ensure a delightful stay for you and your neighbors, please follow these friendly guidelines, which follow the City of Encinitas municipal codes.
CHECK-IN: 3:00 pm or any time after.
CHECK-OUT: 11:00 am or any time before.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Up to 8 Guests
Our permit allows us to accommodate up to 8 guests at all times, day or night. Children and infants are included in the count of 8 (§ 9.38.050.E).
GUEST AGE REQUIREMENTS:
Primary guest must be 25 years or older, have a valid credit card and be present during the entire stay.
NO PARTIES, EVENTS, OR COMMERCIAL FILMING
Any gatherings that have the potential to cause traffic, parking, or noise are prohibited (§ 9.38.050.U, V).
QUIET HOURS: 10 P.M. TO 8 A.M
No noise audible outside the property during these hours. This includes all outdoor areas such as decks, balconies, and patios (§ 9.38.050.A, B).
TOP-LEVEL DECK: A QUIET ZONE
The top-level deck is a designated quiet zone at all times. No unsupervised children should be allowed on the top deck. Noise from the decks, especially the top deck, carries throughout the neighborhood, and the neighbors are quick to complain about noise. All guests must agree not to play music, have loud conversations, or make other loud noises on the top-level deck at any time (§ 9.38.050.A, B).
ROOF ACCESS
Roof access is not allowed except for permitted roof decks. No one shall climb over the wall on the top deck to get onto the roof at any time. (§ 9.38.050.Q).
PARKING: MAXIMUM OF TWO CARS
Park only in the front driveway. Do not block the sidewalk.
Do not park behind the house.
“The property owner or agent shall limit the number of vehicles at the short-term rental unit to the number designated in the permit. All designated on-site parking spaces shall be made available for the vehicles of occupants. Street parking is prohibited, and vehicles shall not impede access to sidewalks and adjoining neighbor properties or driveways." (§ 9.38.050.F).
NO SMOKING OR VAPING
We maintain smoke-free property both indoors and outdoors. (§ 9.38.050.R).
NO PETS
RESPECT FOR THE PROPERTY & FURNISHING
Please do not relocate any large pieces of furniture.
NO RVs OR CAMPERS (§ 9.38.050.W)
FIRE RESTRICTIONS
No open wood-burning fire pits, bonfires, or campfires. Charcoal grills are also prohibited. Guests are welcome to use the propane BBQ provided it is at least 10 feet away from any structure or flammable materials (§ 9.38.050.O, P).
NO SUBLETTING
Only the guests listed in the reservation are allowed to stay. Subletting is not permitted (§ 9.38.050.T).
POOL TABLE CARE
To keep the pool table in excellent condition, do not place items on any part of the pool table or its cover.
SAND MANAGEMENT
Rinse off sand in the outdoor shower before entering the house and avoid pouring sand down the drains to keep our plumbing in good condition.
SALT WATER HOT TUB RULES
No unsupervised children in the hot tub. Please shower before entering, keep the cover closed when not in use, and ensure the gate remains closed at all times.
SECURITY CAMERAS
For your safety, there are security cameras on the outside of the property One at the southwest corner, one at the southeast corner, one at the northwest corner and one at the northeast corner and Ring video doorbells at both entries.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS
Guests must comply with all local, state, and federal laws. (§ 9.38.050.G)
